General Educational Activity
The general educational activity that I have participated in at SUNY Sullivan is detailed in other tabs on this website. My CV is located in the "CV/Recs" tab (which also has letters that detail my participation in many community and general community educational activities) and student mentoring is detailed in the "Advising/Character" tab. I (also) have a Performing Arts Club tab that summarizes many of the details that organization contributes to the community and the general community.

- Evidence of my contribution to education programs and administrative work of the college, beyond my typical job duties;
- Evidence of my contributions to the instructional division or unit;
- Evidence of student mentoring and assistance to student organizations (this last is further explored in the "Performing Arts Club" tab);
- Evidence of my relationships with the community and general community participation.
The 2016-2017 Annual Report has not been made, but highlights include:
- Teaching Theater History I to the students at Sullivan County Correctional Facility;
- Taking a 4-week intensive physical theater workshop with Brad Krumholz of NACL Theatre in June, 2016;
- Performing in NACL Theatre's production of COURAGE at Apple Pond Farm, in Cochecton, NY;
- Teaching Forum Theater methods for the Title IX/Affirmative Consent training during our orientation days in August 2016 and January 2017;
- Left my position as Vice-President of Faculty Council to be the Parliamentarian (a position I took on in February 2016 to replace the previous Parliamentarian);
- Joined the Student Engagement Committee in August 2016, and helped organized their events for Convocation, their weekly Wednesday "Hump Day" events; and their Halloween event;
- Stilted at Convocation and the Halloween Community event;
- Launching the Intercultural Communications class in the Fall 2016 semester;
- Launching the Physical Theater I-II and Voice and Diction I-II classes in Fall 2016 and Spring 2017;
- Launching Methods of Elementary Theater Education class for the Education majors;
- Hiring Adjunct professors, Nick López to teach Acting I and Acting II, and Daniel Lendzian to teach Musical Theater and Classical Theater;
- Hiring Tannis Kowalchuk to teach Voice and Diction I and Physical Theater I;
- Beginning a relationship with Franklin Trapp at Forestburgh Playhouse, in the hopes to create a partnership for theater-for-youth in the county;
- Continuing SUNY Sullivan's relationship with Bethel Woods' Performing Arts Department with Diversity Day Workshops at NACL Theatre in September 2016 and Liberty, NY's Downtown Barn in October, 2016;
- Performing in NACL Theatre's SPIRITS OF LAKEWOOD HOUSE;
- Having the SUNY Sullivan productions of ASSASSINS and TOPDOG/UNDERDOG adjudicated by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Respondents;
- Taking the Performing Arts Club to Broadway's CHICAGO in December, 2016;
- Attending the Region 1 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Danbury, CT, with 10 student competitors from SUNY Sullivan;
- The building of articulation/2x2 agreements with many SUNY Theater Programs;
- Participated in the Learning Management System (LMS) Committee to research, advise, and find a new LMS for SUNY Sullivan;
- Began teaching Shakespeare: Selected Works, to serve as a Dramatic Literature credit in the SUNY Transfer path;
- Launched the Theater History II class in Spring 2017 semester;
- Hiring Adjunct Professor, Bradley Diuguid, for Fall 2017, to teach Theater History I and Methods of Elementary Education;
